My name is Wanying Li and I am a wedding photographer based in Germany. I’m excited to work with you all soon—though work doesn’t quite capture it, because photography is more like my passion.

In pursuing this passion, I’ve explored countless facets of our wonderful world. Wanderlust drives me. Every stranger is a potential new friend—someone to discover with, laugh with, and share a meal with. The world map is my to-do list, and just as I treasure majestic mountains and lush forests, I live for the whisper of the sea. Along these adventures, I’ve encountered fascinating flavors and sipped from the world’s spoon.

How does my calling fit into this? My love for photography goes back as long as I can remember. Since I was ten years old, images and life itself have fascinated me.

Back then, disposable cameras first hit the shelves, and my little piggy bank was always empty—I was constantly developing rolls of film somewhere. Captivated by the need to preserve the moments around me, I trained my photographic eye. For my 14th birthday, my beloved father gave me a Nikon analog-film camera. From that moment, photography became part of me, and since 2013, I’ve turned this passion into my profession as a professional wedding photographer.

Much has changed over time, but my enthusiasm remains forever. You’ll see that passion in the images you receive from me. I pour my heart into creating authentic, aesthetic photographs of life’s most meaningful moments: family, weddings, engagements, couples’ shoots, or simple portraits. I want these images to bring you joy—because that’s what brings me joy. That’s what my genuine, emotion-filled photos stand for.

I shoot digitally using natural light to create images that feel real and effortless. To capture your moments as authentically as possible, I love getting a little closer with lenses between 24mm and 70mm focal lengths.
